Today has been a sort of interesting day. I managed to get a few things done. For starters I ran the hoses for the the stove/oven. It is not finished. I will still need to build a propane locker for it as well as add an electronic shutoff. However, the way it is, is the way it is for now, and I will install the rest later. Continue reading

Today was spent getting some last min repairs handled and some things adjusted because tomorrow I plan to take Caroline out for a shake down. Tomorrow is likely to be one hell of a shake down since the forecast is saying there will be up to 6 foot swells by 3 pm. Never the less it shouldn’t be anything a 14 ton vessel cant handle. the best course of action is to cover it up. I know that sounds awful but sometimes it is simply the most acceptable course of action available. At some point in the history of Caroline the sun hatch developed a leak and the obvious result was rot to the ceiling panel, you know simply because it was left unrepaired for some considerable length of time. Lot of stuff accomplished since I last did a running list update. Still a long way to go however I am pleased to report that very little needs to be done before I can take her out for a shake down. I am admittedly very excited.
