Last moment prep and enjoying the boat

Today was spent getting some last min repairs handled and some things adjusted because tomorrow I plan to take Caroline out for a shake down. Tomorrow is likely to be one hell of a shake down since the forecast is saying there will be up to 6 foot swells by 3 pm. Never the less it shouldn’t be anything a 14 ton vessel cant handle. When a Repair Simply Will Not Do

the best course of action is to cover it up. I know that sounds awful but sometimes it is simply the most acceptable course of action available. At some point in the history of Caroline the sun hatch developed a leak and the obvious result was rot to the ceiling panel, you know simply because it was left unrepaired for some considerable length of time.
